Fiat expanded the 500L lineup with the addition of a new Pro version, which has been described as the "ideal solution for carrying goods and passengers." The model is only offered in a four-seat configuration and is priced from €10,300 (about $13,500 at the current exchange rates).

The new 500L Pro is 4,150 mm (163.38 inches) long, 1,780 mm wide (70.07 inches), 1,660 mm high (65.35 inches) and has a 2,610 mm (102.75 inches) wheelbase, so it offers a great interior space and a 400-liter (14.1-cubic-foot) cargo area with rear seats up. The cargo area expands to a roomy 1,310 liters (46.26 cubic-feet) with the seats folded down. Making loading cargo nice and simple is a 670 mm (26.4-inch) loading height.

Under the hood, the new 500L Pro offers the same engine lineup as the base version, including the base 1.4 16v Fire engine with an output of 95 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 127 Nm (94 pound-feet) of torque at 4,500 rpm. The top-line engine is a 1.3 16v MultiJet 2 that delivers a total of 85 horsepower at 3,500 rpm and 200 Nm (148 pound-feet) of torque at a super-low 1,500 rpm.

The 1.4-liter Fire engine delivers a fuel consumption of 6.2 liters per 100 km (38 mpg) and 145 grams of CO2 per km. The 1.3-liter powerplant is rated at 4.2 liters per 100 km (52 mpg) and emits just 110 grams of CO2 per km.

The latest addition to the 500 lineup is the new 500L version. When compared to the standard version, the new L version is 27.7 inches longer and offers 42 percent more interior room. Customers can choose between four trim levels: Pop, Easy, Trekking and Lounge.
The 500L is powered by a a 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo four-cylinder engine that delivers a total of 160 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque.
On the U.S. market the 500L is priced from $19,100.
